Getting to Leitrim

Leitrim, the Wild Rose County, is the least populated and most rural region of the Republic of Ireland. But don't worry, here are some tips to help you reach us !

By Car

By car it is a 2.5h drive from Dublin Airport
(take M50 southbound, followed by the M4 and then N4)

By Bus

3 hour journey from Dublin Airport.

Approximately 5 buses per day leave Dublin Airport to Carrick-on-Shannon (Leitrim's biggest town). We suggest to book in advance.

When you arrive in Carrick-on-Shannon you can take a taxi to your accomodation or walk (if it's close by). We suggest booking the taxi in advance, as it is a small town and there may not be one at the bus stop.

If you plan to travel by bus and need some more information, get in contact with us and we can advise you directly!
